My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
The E30 M3 is the one, without any questions!
The car won everything and anything!
It was made in three (6) special versions at the top end:
Evolution, Evolution II, Sport Evolution (Evolution III) but also in
very rare Europa Meister 88 Celebration-, Johnny Cecotto- and
Roberto Ravaglia-exclusive versions.
All collector items!
But my heart is with the E36 cabrio...
BTW.
The E31 850Ci was seen as a clumsy car compared to the 840Ci
with the much lighter M60B40 V8 engine (286 hp and 400 Nm).
In '96 with the M62B44 engine (286 hp and 420 Nm in smaller revs).
The engine also of the E38 (James Bond 7-series) and the E39 (precursor of the E60).
But the M70B50 5 liter V12 engine with its 300 hp and 450 Nm's of torgue
was something else in 1988 (in the E31 850 CI from the MT '90).
It was produced in more than 100,000 units, of which 90 % was in the E32/750i.
Later the V12 engine grew up to 5.5 liters (M73B54) with (326hp/490 Nm)
in the E38/750i.
Waiting for a new V12 the current one is a N74B60 6 litre V12 with its 445 hp and 600 Nm of torgue.
