This would suggest a 7 year life span for the E60 and I think thats right........

Then the board will remain alive till 2011 .
It will be very sad ...

I'm sure that the board as we know it may evolve a bit as many of us move to the F10 or other cars but hopefully E60.net will live on for many years to come!
(Lomag, someone in China parked F10.net -- I wonder what other creative domain we could come up with to allow those of us who will likely upgrade? BMWF10.net is also parked... Anyone have any ideas?)

I doubt E60.net is going to simply die in 2011 -- threre will be plenty of people buying used E60's for years to come. We're even seeing a flood of new members now who've just picked up a "new to them" 2004 or 2005 model that was traded in or turned in off of a lease. Even the guy who bought my old car popped in here once or twice to get some information about the car.

PS. Pingu how much do you want for the domain??

Yup, but what AlexFW maybe was referring to is the fact that a E60 Forum post Rudy won't be the same.

Man the next 6 series cannot get here quickly enough. I think the current one has run its course and the slumping sales curve would seem to indicate as much. I hope the next one is lighter, sportier, and faster. My bet is it will be bigger, softer and much more expensive.
