But the 1-series has been out since 2005 in the rest of the world so I don't think there will be many bugs.

Well, 135i is still a new model. Look what happens to many E60 LCI owners. I think there will be some minor problems that dealer will need to fix.

True. But still; the 3.0TT engine has been with us for a while in the 3-series. And 135i coup? is just one of many 1-series models. Over here the 1er coup? comes as 120d, 123d, 125i & 135i. I don't see any need to worry.
