BMW has found another way to tweak mileage and CO2 output levels through its Efficient Dynamics program.
Its efforts will be spent on a revised gearbox for the Z4, with a typical improvement of 1-2 percent across the board, which dont sound alot but it all counts in the end.
All of these eco tweaks will go into effect on cars being produced starting next month.
so if you are planning to get a Z4 now, I would wait until next month.

Frankly, how many Z4 buyers really care about minor improvements in CO2 emission and fuel economy?

To my knowledge, this also is true for the X3.
