If everything goes well and the car is as advertised, I should pick this up. After my gf saw my rieger fitted e60, she too nodded and said I need a beater.

They are sweet but i'd be affraid of tackling electrical gremlins. I plan on getting a e39 touring as a beater. Slightly less complicated.

If I ever get a beater, it will probably be a Mustang GT or Cobra. They are cheap to repair compared to BMW. I'd never have one at this point in my life as a first car but as a second car (if I didn't want to shell out big bucks) they're perfect for me.

John's soon to be 7 looks terrific. Given that I am not very mechanical at all and the breathtaking costs of fixing a BMW when it breaks, I am too chicken to have a BMW out of warranty.

I've been liking cobras alot more recently. They can sound unbelievable.
