Gas price keep increasing. No more V8 consideration
Time to by 3.0L bi-turbo. Should be good enough.
I am curious to the engines they are going to release for the US market. I just might pick one up if I could get a 3.0L bi-turbo... nah the 4.4 will do.

no more info sorry. I would expect them to come in the 2007 facelift.

the new 535d for sure , the 3.0 bi-turbo also... As for the big 4.4 bi-turbo i highly
doubt it. I think it will be left for the x5 and the new 7 series when that comes out
Given the new MB E550 has 382bhp and 391lb-ft of torque, I would be surprised if BMW did not offer the twin-turbo V-8 within 2 years.

Is anybody building a twin turbo for the current 4.4 engine? I'm very interested. The VF Engineering company responsible for supercharger is taking to damn long and cost too much money ($9K)? If only somebody can jam in a TT on the current 4.4i for $3K-$4K, I'll do it.

What is the big obstacle to TT'ing a 4.4 engine? Anybody know?
