My Ride: Mini Cooper
At weekend there was a BMW show in HK in Repules Bay and I tested 2 cars out which were X5 4.8 and Z4 Coupe.
Both cars I like to drive and feel good.
The X5 is very nice in look and the ride but the end back 2 seat in the 7 seater are small space so I think kids only.
Intee is nice and good layout.
The Z4 3.0 Coupe with SMG I like alot in ride and outer design but I dont like the intee, the trim i way too big, like a frige panel and the dash is not that well layout.
it was my 1st time driving the SMG and I like the feel of it but 1 thing I wish all car makers do is make the Up and Down peddle shift the same in all cars.
My Honda Stepwgn peddle shift is left peddle is down gear and right peddle is up gear but the BMW is back peddle is up gear and front peddle is down gear
so If I do get a Z4 with SMG it will onfuse me alot if I own both cars.
I think I wait for the next Z4 or a cheep 2nd hand 1.
So what do you guys thing of these 2 cars?

I think the way the paddles are arranged on the BMW makes the most sense. You can upshift or downshift without thinking about which paddle you are touching (if the steering wheel is turned) and you are able to up or downshift with one hand in case you have your other hand off of the wheel.
"Fingers upshift, thumbs downshift." Once you get that into your head, you'll wonder why all cars aren't set up that way. (Keep in mind that the sport automatic transmission works the same way, thank goodness!)
