Well if there's an M6 CSL coming, I will bet the changes would be merely performance-related. I think that something as radical as replacing the fenders and the bonnet with carbon fibre ones would be too much & not even considered by M Gmbh. Carbon fibre mirrors would be cool though

Maybe or maybe not on a straight line, especially if it has the same technology as the m5 has. Rumours said that it will be launched in a manual gearbox and it will have the similar dsg after gets developed and tested. I for one bealive it will be launched with smgIII. It won't be slower imo on 300m or so, but it might be slower from further on. On twisties there is no comparison.
BTW do you guys think there is any chance for bmw to consider an m6 csl? I mean it's already kinda "worked" at the weight chapter. The engine might take more but it won't be enough.

The part of him using the mobile (AT THAT SPEED) is to be condemned. The speed in fact, isn't! From my rules. yesturday again a hit 155 between 2 sections of speeding cameras, a good stretch of road. Hope they don't caculate the average time it take a car to arrive from one camera to another, as they say...or i'm toast.
I often find myself doing 120 sometimes, early morning though... the amount of undercover police cars in my area is frightening! 
At 156 Mph though with one hand on the wheel and not a 100% concentration on driving

I've only risked going over the tonne once since I got the car, when I decided to rag it round a country lane near Nottingham. Actually I guess that's worse than on a dual carriageway really.
