Um, they did approve production as Gene and Howie have noted - which is good news for me as it gives me a much more appealing option to the F10 IMHO

I love it this is the car that I wait now
it about time BMW start to design and hope to make a hatchback to beat the A5 sportback and CLS market.
I will have this over F10 any day

I have a funny feeling that the F10 Mtech will look something like this front.

If this thing is a 6 series gran coupe, meaning that it will be selling at least 1.2 million HKD (That's about USD153,000) in Hong Kong. It looks really nice though.. But I can't afford to buy one...

I highly doubt that. Historically the sport front of a 5 vs a 6 has been very different in design and it should be. The last thing you want to do is drive down the road looking head-on at a 6 series and think its a 5. They need to be unique.

I sure hope it does make it to market, i definitely would choose this over F10 since im probably lookin for 4doors next time around and the new 5er is quite conservative and heavy...i could see them offering this with the N54 boosted a bit more, sort of like the new 740 but much lighter, then a TTV8 topline model...im sure it would be popular and perhaps a candidate for M at some future date... but finally bmw offers something good looking from the start and thats always a good sign.

Me too, I like the lines on this waaaaaay better than the F10. I need 4 doors (family) and the 7 is just too damn big for me. Imagine if they came out with an M version of this
