I don't think so. It has some real presence in the flesh. It looks and feels modern, cutting edge if you like.

The two main reasons for getting an E70 in stead for me were the fact that it looks too expensive for me to visit customers in, and the fact that it was a bit too expensive if you have a love for fully loaded models.

Were my situation any different I would have definitely gone for the 7 (and still taken the X5 for my wife )

It truly is an impressive car imo.

The F01 is a VERY impressive car from end to end! Powerful, handling better than a car that size should, comfort, seemingly every gadget known to man, all wrapped up in a modern, sleek body!! Drive one before you pass any kind of judgment!

I agree, the new 7 looks way better in person. Haven't gotten a chance to drive -- just sat in one -- but someone I know is waiting for the xi to come out to pull the trigger...
