Well yeah, the E90 is an extremely boring design, but what did you expect? It's their moneymaker.
Even the coupe is bland. A4 is prettier to look at for sure.
yep they can not make it outstanding cose alot of people will not buy it, so it has to be normal so it will be BMW king seller

Bad bad Nickey
The E90 looks quite agressive and very very dinamic even when standing still. The back is indeed a big change especially the taillights, but it grew on me in time. Now i like the E90, of course by far not as much the E60. E92 is a vast improvement over the E90 and they couldn't have pulled it better (meaning having the roots in the E90 but change the design of the car just to give it the coupe look). In person the E92 looks way better than in any pics.

About the engine well...no comment. Really we'll see how many prizes it will win in the following years. I for one ain't that mental about it, but i also didn't drive one to give the verdict.
I DEMAND you visit your closest BMW dealer asap and test drive one. I test drove a 530i which i was supposed to originally get and then heard of this engine well needless to say I now have a 335i the auto in the 530 is off no comparison, if the world was coming to an end and I could only choose one option for a new car it would be this engine (ok, ok you caught me in a lie, the V10 engine or the Porsche GT turbo engine and what about that Bugatti engine, ).

I have a 335i cabriolet on order (for my wife). Graphite, Black leather, alum. trim, loaded (everything!) including 19" wheels. Love the retractable hardtop! April/May delivery.

It's part of a master strategy so she won't complain when I trade my car in for a M5

He hates the styling - interior and exterior. He may be the only one to think so: every other review I've seen positions the 335i coupe as the best looking BMW in a long while. I think so too.
So the car is great, and the rest is subjective. But I think that subjective part is (most of the time) the only thing he bitches about a BMW, because for the rest there is nothing else to bitch about. BMW just makes great cars. Only JC does not want to admit it.

Btw, does anyone know where JC's dislike for BMW's has come from? Has he suffered some kind of post-traumatical stress since he has been overtaken by a BMW when he was 18, while trying to show his driving skills of to his GF?

Who the hell is this JC guy? Is he some luxury sports car guru. I'm new to this...I've been driving a 90hp diesel Jetta for 4 years. I was all set to buy a new A4 because I felt the old BMW body style was tired...and it was. Then in '06 they launched the new generation. Sold!

It took me another year to pull the trigger, but in January I bought a new 335i sedan with sport and premium. This car makes an A4 look like a dogs breakfast. And while the only thing I can compare the speed to is my 90hp Jetta, this car is damn quick. I test drove an '06 330i and there is no comparison.

The snow is gone and I am taking it in to put the 18 inch wheels and summer rubber on. I didn't realize how much fun driving to work could be.
