Hi All,

I have a 2004 325i (E46, I think - maybe someone can verify?).

It's coming due for its 60,000 inspection (Inspection II).

If I download the checklist for the inspection, it appears to be spark plugs, 2-3 filters, and lots of fluids (transmission, etc.).

I've gone to 2 different dealers and been quoted $800 and $1200 for this service (I'm in the North East US).

Anyone have any experience with this service - are these reasonable prices?
Would you trust this to a 3rd party service center, or only a dealer?

Depending on where you are located, of course you can go to a good private mechanic.
Get recommendations from friends in your area. Geesh!
