Hey guys,

Over the past couple of weeks I've been looking around to buying a new car
and I've recently discovered the Z3 E36-7 2 door 2 seat ROADSTER and has fallen
in love with it! ^^;;

The car im driving atm is just a mazda eunos 30x pretty much bought a couple of years ago before
I got my license so I could practice driving manual (as my parents says its dangerous for girls to drive manual!)

Well anyways I've found two possible Z3s that interest me and would love
to hear your opinons as I'm still new to the BMWs!

First choice is;

a) 2000 BMW Z3 E36-7, Red, 5 speed Manual, 6 cylinder Unleaded Multi-point injected 2.0L (1991cc), 98,000kms

b) 2001 BMW Z3 E36-7 STEPTRONIC, metalic green, 6 cylinder Unleaded Multi-point injected 2.2L (2171cc), 85,000kms

The thing is, I was looking towards A because it was within my price range and I couldnt say no
to the sexyy red colour and manual transmission. But option B. is willing to reduce their price
and would pretty much beat the price of the 2000 model car.
Now that got me thinking that B is probably the better deal with lower
kms, and a 2001 model but its steptronic. To be honest I've always had a love for manual cars so
I'm having trouble deciding between the two.

So what do you guys reckon? WHich one is the better deal? Would steptronic/manual differ
that much in performance? (I pretty much just need the car to go out, some nice crusing etc.)
Thanks guys!!

To me, a roadster should be a manual to be appreciated fully. Top down and going through gears seems inseparable IMHO. Enjoy!

I've know about 5 or so people who bought the 2.0 motor and had nothing but problems with it. If it was me I would stay away from option a) 2000 BMW Z3 E36-7, Red, 5 speed Manual, 6 cylinder Unleaded Multi-point injected 2.0L (1991cc), 98,000kms.

Good luck with your future buy!!

Option B. Get the bigger engine and less miles.
