Well, I think your test drive was on an early model. AS has been improved and feels great. Absolutely no problems and very direct steering, very intuitive. But AS was upgraded through software updates, so I guess you have been driving an early model without software updates.
DD doesn't feel awkward at all. You are connected to the road and you can also make the car tilt on corners. And if you wanna drift it's no problem...![Whistling](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/whistling.gif)

DD yllows to take those corners very tight and AS is just perfect for driving in those areas.

I really like the DD. Some of the streets up here in the mountains are so tight, you acn't afford any drifting unless you wanna crash with opposing traffic.

Yeah right. Sweet dreams Iceman.
No 545 can beat an M3, not on the straight and not on the circuit. I bet the M3 driver was having as much fun as this dude in his clio.

Sorry the M3's had to go mate - it looked lovely and I'm sure it was fun.
You need to try to get a new one - I'm sure the 745li is nice - but you're way to young for it imagewise.
What sort of remap have you had done to the e60? DMS have told me they could get mine up to 260bhp and 565nm (I've got the 218bhp M57 engine)
And... why do you bang on about Mercedes so much when you've got access to such lovely BMW metal ?

Ah, a purist, I see.
Believe it or not.
Maybe the guy was a poor driver or it was Daddys car, I don't know. But he had no chance. He tried and failed...
