Would you recommend me to get the sports package or the adaptive ride package? and please explain the choice. I know that even when you get the non-sports adaptive ride package, there is an option to choose sports mode, comfort mode or something else i cant remember right now. The sports option in adaptive ride, would that be similar to an actual sports package suspension.
Thanks
Thanks

Firstly active steering varies the force with which you need to rotate the wheel , so that its easier to park, and also harder to do something stupid on the highway. Problem is, when i test drove a e60 equipped with this it was really difficult to predict just how much steering input is needed to get teh car to turn.
Secondly dynamic drive is a good technology but i think it has its place on a big luxury limo like the 7 series, and not the 5 series. if you order it you pretty much forgo the opportunity to drift and powerslide as the the car hyrdaulically levels itself. Also the car never tilts on corners, but it feels very ackward , and the driver is definitely not connected to the road

DD doesn't feel awkward at all. You are connected to the road and you can also make the car tilt on corners. And if you wanna drift it's no problem...

Well, I think your test drive was on an early model. AS has been improved and feels great. Absolutely no problems and very direct steering, very intuitive. But AS was upgraded through software updates, so I guess you have been driving an early model without software updates.
