My Ride: 2006 550i Black Sapphire Metallic
Premium Sound Package, Sports Package, Comfort Access, Heated Front Seats, and Navigation System
was window shopping at the local dealer and saw one. I don't like the rear end and not sure about the front either. It is pretty big compaired to a 5. Wonder how that TT6 is going to be able to feed it?

I, too, was surprised how big the X6 is in person, when I saw one at my dealership. The pics online, esp. on BMW's web site make it look like a small, sporty crossover....but it's damn big.

Its based off a X5 chassis, so its going to be pretty big. Its basically a X5 with the roof chopped off, less cargo room, less interior room, one less seat and odd styling. The funny part is they charge more for it, a lot more.
Don't tell me it's the first time you see a car manufacturer charging more for less. Everybody does it. Look at the price of the 3 series coupe and the 3 series sedan. Look at the price of the 5 series and the 6 series. A CLK will alwyas cost more than a C Klass and the CLS costs more also than the E Klass.
So this is nothing new. IMHO from the list that you described nothing is a bad thing except for the odd styling which is better said unconventional.

I am not the only one saying it. Just about every review. The automobile has no purpose.
A 5000+ lbs lifted wagon that only seats 4 people, no utility, less room than a X5. Plus it cost more than the X5, your right what a deal.
BMW doesn't do everything right.
