http://www.worldcarfans.com/news.cfm/newsi...-coupe-in-depth

all is here. They feature the new lighter 3litre diesel blocks:

330d is 231bhp
335d is 286bhp with 580nm from 1750rpm, and in true tradition it is auto only

0-100km/h for the 335d is 6.1s, so around half a second quicker than the 535d

eu cycle is 37.7mpg
Cheers - this confirms the new 335d / 535d engine - cool.

What do you know about the 330i - is it dead - or alive ?

Why would it be dead? The 330i (probably you refere more to the 3000cc L6 NA engine) will continue the production without any doubts.

I do hope so! I can't believe BMW will wait that long unless they've a pile of 'old' engines to shift...
One can still buy a X5 with the prehistorical 4.4i engine (545i)

This fall: Facelifted X3 and E92 coming.

Early next year, a brand new X5 and soon to announced a brand new concept...

In NA it will be gone for MY2007, replaced by 335i Sedan per Dealer Bulletin on model designations - I think posted on E90post. Let me see if I can get thread.
