directly competing with Porsche Cayman

confirmed engine lineup - R6 3.0 sweet six & the current M3's lump

design wise - i think it's bangle's greatest work yet.
i cannot think of another example where the hardtop version looks more sexy than the drop-top version

Bearing in mind this is still concept - i certainly hope the production gets the same interior detailing.

I am also sure BMW intends to follow Porsche's lead & price the Coupe ABOVE the Roadster.

In Singapore the Cayman 3.4 is going for $301,888 pre-launch
I think the Z4 coupe would be around $250,000 to stay around the price of a regular boxster & the trend here of pricing below Mercedes. (the SLK 350 is now going for $256,000)

The coupe is a 2007 model - hope to see it in our shores by 2008.

I like it, but in recent reviews in the US, they did not rate the Z4 very well on handling and driving fun. The Boxster generally scores highest in these areas. Just depends on what you want.

I like the Audi TT hardtop more than the soft-top!

Much nicer than the Z3 Coupe. That was one ugly car, but made up for it with its perfromance.

I like it, but would probably get a cayman over the Z4 if I had a choice.

It's a fun car, but also a tight fit, so not sure if it would replace the e60.
