I just got in the mail today my first recall of one of my BMW's. The recall was on my 03 325xi for Ignition coils. It possible that I am now polluting the air. They also said if I go to have it inspected and the coil has fail, I'll probally fail the inspection. Who would have thunk it :P

Here's the details I posted at the time: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=18964 [/quote] I have just had all 6 ignition coils replaced today on my E60 520i UK. spec. Dealer found a problem while car was in for a Microfilter service. This was a surprise as at least one had been replaced last year by a different dealer after i-drive showed up an engine fault. However it turns out they had fitted the wrong type for my car so my new dealer replaced the whole lot under warranty. It does seem to be running better or it could be just imagination. Will see! |
