E39 with M sport Pkg how do you get at the bulbs to change them. Manual shows without M pkg only and does not apply. Do you remove the black plastic grill or go up from the bottom by removing the bottom tray

i used to have a e39 and did all the bulbs changing myself . i'm not sure about the sport package but i have to remove the black plastic grill in the front in order to take out the lens. once you have the lens out, everything is self-explanatory and very straight forward. let me know if you have hard time to remove the plastic grille. good luck .
