One of the reasons I am getting the E46. Either way, every company is going into this direction sooner or later. You will not be to maintain this car after warranty.

+1 kroz I don't get it, BMWs will eventually be throwaway cars for the wealthy... 50k scrap it get another 50k scrap it...
There is not such thing as a garage queen anymore with the new BMW's. You lease 'em then bring them back. It's a real shame. You can't maintain these cars and keep them in the family. The whole idea of owning BMW's and maintaining them and cherishing them won't exist in a few years.

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
Still, that car can get you a speeding ticket while parked. I like the aggressive stance.
