I was in Manhattan BMW yesterday buying touch up paint for my rear bumper and they had an X6 on display right next to an 535i. The SUV is a big car. I got in it and it was aesthetically pleasing and roomy. BMW continues it's traditional interior with this model, not alot of eye candy electronics like the new infinity, which I like but would not buy. It would have been allot nicer if they had more pleasing electronics.

What I did not like was the rear seating area and the wheels. There is only room for 2 people, that's it! In the middle of the rear seat there is a console for cups such. This SUV only seats 4 comfortably, no more. From the outside the rear trunk looks small but once you open the hatch it's pretty roomy back there. Overall the car looks nice but I don't know if I would invest in such a car for a family. If you want the car for yourself then the only justifiable purchase would be the V8 TT. The V6TT is going to be much slower that the 535i or xi because of the weight of the car.

I took a couple of photos and will post once I upload them to the computer for those who are interested. This was just a quick synopsis for those who are curious.

Rick....

ps. I loved the two tone interior, I forgot to mention that.

I am glad it's only a 4 seater. Now i hope no third person gets on the back and rests his feet on the console
