I think these BMWs all were from one collection in Southern California.
1997 BMW 540i Sport with only 821 original miles sold for $22,000
2001 BMW 740i Sport 80 miles $38,500
2002 BMW M5 69 miles $48,500
2002 BMW Z8 112 miles $121,000
Another Z8 (vert) sold for $143,000
OK, so I get the idea of collecting cool cars. But how could you own yet never drive these wonderful machines? With the exception of the Z8s ... these took a beating losing 50% of their value just sitting there. Ouch.
On the other hand, as a potential buyer, these things look stunning and that E38 makes me . I hope it found a nice home.
