While walking around the lot at my local BMW dealership located just outside Philadelphia i stumbled upon what looked to me like a European version 320d with German temporary tags ( I was told that it was delivered thru the European delivery program ) It had a single exhaust, MT with M logo Shift knob, and no orange reflector I was under the impression that we wouldn't be getting Diesels for a while ?? Does anyone know anything about the 3 series diesel wagon being available in the US ? My wife really liked it and i wouldn't mind getting a diesel wagon.

The so called "?berf?hrungskennzeichen" or "Zollkennzeichen", in English Export plates, are used for exporting vehicles abroad. The plates are the only ones which do not have the blue Euro strip on the left; the owner does not need to be a German resident to register the car. The date on the red strip on the right hand side does not show the expiry date of the plate; instead it shows the expiry date of the vehicle insurance. After this date the vehicle must have left Germany.
That's for sure.

that doesnt look like a 320d tho , more like a 318i petrol with that exhaust pipe. The 320d pipe points down , that ones going streight out.
