Went to a recent BMW day out at Rockingham and drove every 1 series both petrol and diesel. Great traditional BMW drive but one hell of an ugly Mutha Fuc*a.
Those headlights are horrible IMHO almost as bad as the E90's. They may grow on me but somehow I doubt it. I though the 7 series would but that looks worse now than ever. I have my doubts about the look of the five from the side too.

i like the 1's....... saw quite a few while in germany for the last 2 weeks. Pricing on them isn't that bad either .... i wish i'd have gone & test drove one ... i was at a dealership for a few hours & looked at different things.

Of course look it all depends what color you choose I learnt the same when ordered my e60. With this it would be better a red or silver grey maybe not black or the pic is bad.
Do not blame it poor 1er. It will hopefully consum people and attract from VW that is the goal of BMW. ey?
