Yeah, the E92 ///M3 is way much better than the E60 ///M5..
take the ///M3 if you want a coupe with great handling..

I need to go test drive the M3. I need to feel the difference. I'm curious to know.

It's weird you say that, as an M5Board member just returned his E92 M3 after a few months of owning it and bought a 2008 M5. He had a 2006 M5, but wanted to try the new M3, after his M5 lease ended. He didn't like it as much as he thought he would and ended up going back to the V10.

Yes..If you want to compare the power, the ///M3 will lose to the ///M5 for sure..But handling wise, I'd put my vote on the ///M3..

There is numerous members on M3post that switched to the M3 from the M5. They all love their cars.
I believe there is a member on here that switched over to the M3 (tightie).
The M5board member must have missed his extras horsepower, vs. the better handling. Did he have DCT? M5 is more of a highway car.

It wasn't just about the raw power. I too, agree that the M3 is more nimble, so it would make sense that it handles better. I'm actually surprised that member went back to the M5, after owning one prior to the M3. I need to go test drive this little beast and see for myself.
Have you test driven the E92 ///M3?....waiting for your comments..
