I was searching for E46 M3's and I came across this 2008 M3 with 28k miles. FOR $45,000! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...759.l1259#v4-33

Here's the catch, the car was hit by a deer....or a the car hit a deer And the title is DAMAGED, not SALVAGE.
All parts replaced with OEM parts and the seller claims no frame damage.

I know the manual will never be as fast as the new DCT but I have always wanted a manual and the red leather looks HAWT!
What do you think?

Thank you

The car looks nice, but something doesn't sound right....Why does he want to sell it after he fixed it? Maybe he did just to make a buck, but then again maybe there is still damage to the car some where....

The main mass off the animal would be above the bumper so I would imagine that the bumper took out the dears' legs and probably just crushed the hood and smashed the window....
But I don't know... I mean it's a FULLY, FULLY, FULLY, loaded M3!

Perhaps you could talk to the shop that repaired it. I wouldn't really expect frame damage from hitting a deer, but I suppose it's possible... I smacked one going about 40...it looked bad but was all cosmetic.

Contact the nearest BMW dealership where the car is located and arrange for them to go over the car ask the seller if he is ok with that. If there truly isnt anything wrong with it he should be fine with that. I know my brother did this when he purchased a MB from California. He arranged for the car to be flatbedded from th owners home to MB they charged him the flatbed fee of course and the price to go over the whole car. If MB does it I'm sure BMW has to do it.
