Slightly off topic - but isn't it interesting that, even with the badges covered up and doors painted on (lol) - it's immediately obvious that that could only be a BMW.
Bangle has done something right at least in terms of creating a family resemblance accross the brand.

If you look at the choice of engines of the BMW 1, and you compare this with the competition (VW Golf, Audi A3), you can see there is a great gap between the 120i (150PS) and the 130i (265PS). Competition has the 2.0 TFSI engine with 200PS... so i think BMW is working on a new engine. Maybe it'll be a 125i or a 120ti...
