My wife has an 04 Accord that has had some problems, it's time to let it go. She has wanted a convertible and found an 02 M3 that's black on black... 84k miles for $19k. I haven't done much research yet but wanted to toss it out here for thoughts on price and on the car in general. I'm digging the idea of another BMW in the garage. The car looks pretty good, 18" wheels (black with a chrome lip - I know, lips are out but it looks sharp). So, what says you? TIA.

i need to see some pix. run the vin too via autocheck. Price is kinda high tho. But u also gotta remember it's a rare car and people pay top dollar for it. Manheim auctions for a 2002 E46 M3 vert is the following (I am rounding the numbers up):

53K miles - $17K
72K miles - $15K
127K miles - $12K
150K miles - $10K
65K miles - $17K
79K miles - $15K
99K miles - $12K

Remember you also have to pay auction fees and someone's gotta make a buck. So for instance those prices include auction fees, add a VERY reasonable $1500 to $2000 profit and you have your actual numbers. Hope that helped.!

Towards the end of last year I sold my 04 m3 smg with 86k on it for $14,500. It had every option, Clean title, no accidents, and 2nd owner. Knew i sold it too cheap! I was asking 16 for a quick sale because of a deal i was getting on my 550.. A guy brought a bag full of cash a so i told him to take it lol. Carmax had offered me $13,000 to buy it from me though..
