Currently own an '08 E90 M3 6MT (slicktop, single hump, no EDC). Here she is at the Tail of the Dragon:
Since then, I've added Öhlins coilovers, an Autosolutions shifter kit, front tension arm monoballs, camber plates (for the monoballs), style 513M wheels (18s from the F80 – forged, lighter), solid rear subframe mounts, and a massive refresh of the drivetrain and all other suspension parts except the ARBs. 162k miles and counting.
At some point in the next year or so, we're looking to add a very specific kind of E60:
- 528i
- 6MT
- RWD
- Model year 2009 or 2010
Definitely a unicorn. Thankfully, no need to pull the trigger until at least December. If we can't find one by next spring, the plan is to buy an AT car that ticks all the other boxes and manual swap it.
In the meantime, here to read up here and there, and maybe weigh in where I feel like I have something to offer.
FODI! A 528i manual isn't really a unicorn like the tourings are. You should be able to find what you want easily within that timeframe. May I suggest that you post a WTB in our Complete Car Sales forum?

Yeah, I've found manual 528is; what seems to be rare is 528i manual plus RWD and 2009/2010 only. I have email alerts set up on Autotempest and BAT, and I get Cars and Bids emails, and all I've seen in the past few months are two completed auctions!
Will definitely post in the classifieds when I'm ready to buy. Figured it'd be premature if I'm not ready to pull the trigger until December. Do you think I should post now anyway?
