I loved the e90, it was everything I wanted in a car but a little small. I also got the 325, so a little low on power, but no dog. It was Jet Black over Terra. I absolutely fell in love with the Terra, but I'm not a fan of black cars. I'm a nut when it comes to a clean car and black was killing me. Also, I bought off the showroom floor and it didn't have lumber and the seats already sit a bit lower. I've had 4 back surgeries (I'm only 34) and I needed more comfort than the 3 could give me. The 5 seems to have answered all my wants.

Congratulations! I too came from a 3 series, an e46 M3. And I almost purchased an e90 which I think is a great car.
Concerning the query on the fit and finish of the interior I feel the e60 wins this hands down. But then you are definitely paying for it. What the e90 excells in is handling.
