Hi all, new member from Melbourne Australia signing in.
I have been reading for a while and find this site a great information source.
A big thanks to all members who tracked down and solved the door creaks - you helped me fix mine! They were not too bad just creaked a bit on stop/start and tight radius slow turns but I am a bit anal re noises. However a good clean of the seal and a bit of WD40 and they creak no more!
I used to work for a US company and spent quite a bit of time there - mainly west coast and LA (Co based in Irvine). Great spot and I always enjoyed my time there. I wish our cars were priced like yours too, altough our standard fitout specs are at the high end.
Anyway I hope I can contribute something as I have already got a lot out.
PS: Ditched the runflats after 15k miles a few weeks back and I am loving the car even more now!!!

I have a 2006 525 M Sport - Silver grey with beige leather (poplar wood trim). Not too many options I think the only non-standard extras are nav, iPod, sunroof, tint, enviro interior treatment. I bought it just before the pro pack came out - doh! Hey can't win them all.
One suggestion - consider changing the runflats to conventional rubber on day 1 if you can while they are new (especially with Sydney?s roads). As noted I used the Re050's for a year and finally changed recently and it is a great improvement!
Sounds like you have yourself a nice ride coming ? enjoy. My cousin has a similar speced 530 (touring) add radar cruise. He had BMW put conventional rubber on at purchase and after driving it I decided o change.
PS: You will love the 5. The more time you spend in it the more you will apreciate it. It is night and day compared to the 3.
