members will drop their e60's with 19"s or 20"s...just comes down to personal preference..if you do decide to lower your e60, I suggest coilovers over springs alone...

I was also offered 2250 for flawless OEM M5 wheels and brand new tires? is that a fair price? ( the 250 is for shipping from Texas )

total comes to ~2400 new....you are only $150 from the used set you are looking at....IMO, go with a new set...especially since you'd be abe to order the M5 wheels/166 wheels with the M6 offset (I am assuming the wheels you are looking at are M5 offsets).
