Hello all, I am back to BMW after a two year switch to corvette. Glad to be back. GM sucks when it comes to quality,; I just bought a 2006 530i and love it. I hope to learn mucho from you guys. the wheels just bought are MAYA DTR 20". The look is great, ride is fantastic. I would like to lower it about an inch without losing ride quality. What is your input on this? $$ is not an issue but ride is. Please let me know the Foums info. Thanks all and A BIG HELLO!!!.
Could you please fill in your signature so we would know e.g. if you purhased you car with the Sports Package.
If you didn't, the BMW's M Sports suspension would give you some lowering without losing the comfort,
but I suppose it only lowers about half an inch.
Otherwise, use the Search mode and go to the "Parts, Assessories and Mods" tread.

The same from me.
Welcome to the best forum in the world.
Agree! Corvette will eat E60 for lunch without spitting out the bones. Z06 rocks! If I had money, I'd get a 550i and a 2006 Z06
Why not get an m5 and satisfy both?
You are right. OK, a a new M5 and a new Z06.

As to lowering your car, I would give Ground Control a call. They don't have anything off-the-rack for the E60, but their techs are very friendly and can give you good advice on the 5er even if you don't buy from them (and you don't have to). Ground Control can also set you up with a custom suspension system.
Just add them one at a time. When your budget adjust to the first, then buy the second.
