My Ride: 2008 535xi - Monaco Blue- Prem/Sport/Nav/Logic7
Default

Recently purchased a CPO 2008 535xi, after trading in a 2002 330i, and I like the extra space, love the extra power, and realize that the newer technology (Nav/comfort access/i-drive/etc) really makes a difference. I can't believe I spent all those years having to take the key out of my pocket and turn it!

Couple of concerns:

1. The stock 17 inch wheels are most unimpressive and I must upgrade. Most of the mod-conscious posters have 19 or even 20 inch wheels, but I am concerned that the ride will be too harsh, but I do like the look of the 19 inch wheels. Any thoughts?

2. I live in Denver, but would rather avoid the hassle of a summer/winter set-up. How good are the "all season" tires and can I get away with just one set of tires?

3. What about body kits? Can you just do the sides, or would it look too awkward? Is there a good place to go to see all the options for the various fronts and rears (with before and after)?

Thanks for any help!

^^^ +1000 Contact Nerweezy ASAP.
welcome to the forum, I grew up in Denver (Cherry Creek next to the Denver Country Club).
For a better response to the question of all-season tires I'd contact member Anzafin - he lives in Finland, he would know a lot better how good AS tires are in winter. Good Luck
