Hi everyone..I don't own a BMW as of yet but I am thinking of purchasing a 2008 535 xi real soon..any good suggestions?? Thanks.

 

Yeah, if you plan on modding the car don't get the Xi version. You'll be limited in wheels and suspension parts.

Thanks maybe not looking to mod right now..I am just curious being that the car has over 50k miles what type of maintenance am I looking at..and how much would they cost me?

 

depends but I highly recommend you to look into its service history, especially the sensor issue with the 535 model. Also, bring it to a shop for inspection and since you're in NY, don't know if it's near by where you are but check out the vendor's thread for John Motorcept's inspection service. Of course it wouldn't hurt to look into the idrive to see what kind of service is due next.
