My Ride: E61 523i
New member - UK, Warwickshire
Good afternoon all,
Thought i'd sign up to see what i can learn about the E61 523i i have just purchased.
Its a 2005 55 plate
523i SE Touring
119k miles

Black Dakota Leather
Space Grey
Visibility Pack
ZF 6 speed Auto Transmission
Dark Poplar Wood Trim (High Gloss)
Seat Heating - Front

Few things i've noted since having it, its got a slight coolant leak, didnt notice anything on the test drive, and looks to be leaking from the front near the rad so i'm hoping its just a hose or worse case the radiator. 2nd is the fuel filler cap latch, but it's easy enough opening it with something down the side of the cap, unless this is a common thing and there is a cheap easy fix.....
Whats people's verdict on a transmission oil service? i've seen the service kits online..... is this something people reccomend? if so where would you reccomend to have it done and a rough price.
