New member here. Don't have an E60 yet, but looking at buying a 2009 next August. Thinking about doing an ED , but need to see how scheduling works with my better half as she is a teacher and will need to work around her schedule. Would go earlier, but would really like to get the rebate from BMWNA for being a CCA member.

Looking forward to making use of all the good advice available on this forum.

Thanks for the welcome. I am out in West Texas in Midland. Looking at either a 535i or 550i. The V8 hqas some appeal, but really think that the 6 would be fine. Think I would rather add options for the price difference.

Thanks mrfva. Looking forward to picking up alot of info regarding 5 Series. Currently have a Tahoe, but feel the need to replace it with something that not only gets better mileage, but is much more fun to drive. We went from a 2006 Mini S convertible to the 330CIC and it reminded me that autos should be fun to drive. We feel the need for a bigger sedan and the 5 would do nicely.
