First of all, many thanks for all the positive responses.

In answer to the various comments.

Sam: The Voice Control for the Bluetooth phone works. In fact, its excellent. I've been playing with it this morning. You can dial a number just by speaking it, and it recognises what you say everytime. You can also store numbers and names, and that works just as well. It even reads your stored names back to you. The only downside is that you have to store them seperately to the ones already in the phone. Still a small to price to pay for ease of use on the move. The voice button by the menu button by the iDrive is for extended Voice. Its an option in the UK, and I didn't take it.

Dr. D : Your right about the Gower, but there are far less cars, and even greater roads in Scotland. I guess thats why so many Car Mags road test up there. Enjoy your new baby.

I'm curious about the cubby holes in the boot now, so a bit more investigating is called.

Cheers,

Malc.

Malc,

Mirrors do not fold automatically when engine is swtiched off. You either press the button or get the car memory function switched on by dealer to allow mirrow folding by remote. Just keep the lock button pressed on the remote and see the mirrors fold in.

No joy on holding the lock button and seeing the mirrors fold. I suspect the car key memory needs activating. I'll ring the dealer and see what they say.

Cheers,

Malc.

Yes, the car memory memory needs to be set. The folding mirrors function comes deactivated.
I placed a post here on this forum with the list of car memory functions on my car.

Malc,

The parking in the UK didnt bother me much, however I never got the hang of those *&% double roundabouts.
