I just purchased my first 5 series....I am not new to bimmers, but this is my first 5.
I bought the car to keep as my daily driver, as my truck is going to be parked in the driveway until I need it due to the fact that it costs an absurd amount of money to drive my truck back and forth to work each day.
I bought a 2006 BMW 525xi, I was going to go with the 535xi or 535i but I was worried about the HPFP and wastegate issues...and the right car became available.
The car has navigation, but no satellite radio (awful!) and no aux input.
What is the cheapest option to add aux myself without going to the dealer as I am confident enough to tackle most tasks on my own.
I was also going to check and see if there is a cost effective method to adding a back up cam to the vehicle, if not its no big deal....just after having it for so many years you tend to rely on it quite a bit....
