Hello from Chester. I picked up my first BMW yesterday. I've enjoyed riding in other people's over the years, but having my own is going to be a very new experience. Only 6 miles on the clock so far, but will be putting quite a few more on over the weekend.
I've been lurking here for a while, learned a lot about the E60 and whetted my appetite for a few mods - but I don't think I'll go ahead with much in the first year at least so as not to cause any problems with the warranty.
I can't get over how good looking this car is (to my eyes anyway). The dealer made a lot about the special quality of these colours, and it turned a lot of heads at the dealership, even among the seasoned staffers. There was another E60 being collected yesterday, in a darker blue. I really like darker colours, but this one looked positively dowdy against mine.
