Greetings to all...well I have been lurking here for a long time and have to say it is a very informative forum. I am driving an '02 540 and have just extended my lease to October to take delivery of a new 550. I thought I would join up and at least say thank-you to all the members for all I have already learned about my next BMW! I look forward to the discussions and info exchanges that are all so insightful. Thanks!

I am in the exact same situation with my '02 540 coming off of lease in May. After doing the obligatory test drive of the RL, A6 4.2, A8, all the Lexuses, etc. I had zeroed in on the 545, but a few more months to the 550 is too tempting. How long was BMW willing to extend your lease?
