Hi, new to the 5'S
i have owned 2002, e21, e30, e36, e46
now a 530xi 2006.
still own the 2002 and the poor e46 that i try to get rid of.

i am retired electronic EE for the automtive market...made a lot to cars (true stuff sold to the mass market), rfid, bluetooth, remote start/alarms, all kind of bypasees for remote start systems, so i know all kind of bus communication systems and theirs variants since 1999. got 3 patents in that field.

one of my latest trick..


should be enough to start fire.

i noticed a lot of details during the making of this, particularly for the battery drain issue....
every now and then i visit forums to get knowledge from other peoples and try to avoid unwantd discussions and the such like knows-it-all guys who reply "have you searched ?" or maybe its the fuses...lol..
so now i am experiencing the dreaded battery drain issue on my E60...lol...

Pretty cool! Now you know why trying to install remote start on a Bimmer is a nightmare for most folks!
