Greetings folks! I just wanted to drop a few lines and say hello to the members of the forum. The name is Tony and I recently traded in my TS 535i for a Space Gray 08 550i with 32k and CPO. I have to say that when the E60 first came out I was not a fan, but it has grown on me over the years and now I think that this design is timeless.
I loved the 535i, but it had so many problems and while casually searching for a 550i, I came upon a great deal and decided to go for it. I LOVE the look of this car! Appearance-wise, the MSport transforms this car significantly. While looking at the dealer's website, I thought that I would not like the Space Gray color and was hoping to get a Platinum Gray instead, but still went to see it and boy was I wrong! I saw it and Platinum what? I love this color! (The Wife approves too!).
Anyway, like I said before, its a 2008 SG with Black Interior, MSport, Auto, Cold Weather, HUD, Comfort Access, Ipod Adapter. I have only put about 100 miles on it, so I am still getting familiar with it, but I love it! i like keeping my cars clean, so claying and a good detail are in order for this upcoming weekend!

Coming from a very quiet 535i I am just loving the V8! The exhaust is loud, but not obnoxiously loud and while pulling off at the stoplights, its just pure joy! The darn thing just purrs on the highway and the MPG is at 17 MPG with me pushing quite a bit! 17mpg vs 19mpg that I was getting from the 535i is not bad at all! Claying and a good cleaning are in order for this weekend!
