Yeah I read about the noise issues associated with the diff a few years back when I got the car but haven't heard much about it since. But there's that one thread by member Wolverine where his diff failed after I think about 50K miles and Dinan wouldn't help with the repairs. He was hoping that would at least do something to help even though it was out of warranty since that seems like not a lot of miles for the diff to fail.
On the performance side though, seems like some people don't think the increased torque to the ground was noticeable at all. Others like you seem to love it.

My hand clocked time from 62 - 125 mph improved by almost 2 seconds.

With just the diff?? I think you can only cut down that many seconds when comparing a stock car to a fully modded car like yours, not just with a diff.
Here's a little taste of the cars power:

On my way to Germany I tested this on the Autobahn, and after installing the diff, on the way back on the same stretch of road I tested it again. I guess it is a power band range where the diff excels. Obviously there could be a half a second measuring error, because I did it by hand, but it still is a major improvement.

Damn that's insane. I'm jealous you were able to do that. Definitely one of my bucket list items. ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

Thanks to all of you for a warm welcome
Yes the topspeed run was done with the diff. A normal M5 would not reach 8,000 rpm at 335 kmh, more like 7,200 rpm.
