Hi - just introducing myself to the forum. I bought my 545i 6-speed some time ago, and have only made a few random posts here and there. Thought it time for a formal introduction. My car is a 545i 6-speed - completely stock except for the elimination of the carbon filter in the airbox (which if nothing else made it sound better - maybe a few extra horses...) and replacement of the shift knob with an M knob from an E46 M3,
The car itself is Amethyst Grey, which IMO is one of the coolest colors BMW ever put on a car. At dusk it is particularly cool - turning a slight shade of purple. The car is completely loaded (except for an automatic transmission.....) Black interior.
Has:
Navigation
Head-up Display
Active Cruise
Premium/Sport Packages
Active Steering (part of sport package)
Active Headlights
Cold Weather Package
Logic 7
Added: MP3/iPod controller
I live in NYC - I rarely get to drive it but it's a lot of fun. Makes great noises, is quite frugal for something as quick as it is, and very stylish as most here agree.
I'll post some additional pictures when I can.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Looks like Xman has found a kindred spirit. Not my preference in color but it's unique and I like unique - besides when the modding is done your car will look as good as Xman's
