Isn't it good to see the little IRL on the number plate?
Got mine three weeks ago, very impressed having come from a 98 reg 525tds and a lexus is200 prior to that. That lexus liked to drink so the 520d is mighty compared to that. THe 520d is doing better on mpg than the 525, but I expect it to do even better once it loosens up a little.

Debadge it?? - If I bought it brand new I would have requested it debadged, however I bought it as an ex-demo (with only 200 miles on it). I may investigate it - I have a few other things I would like to do - chrome grills and xenon lights as a start. Problem is here in Ireland dealers generally are willing to sell you a car but anything else like retrofits - they are not interested. Eg - I wanted a cradle for a V3 phone but dealer said they dont exist. Fine until I see on this forum board that they do!! I may have to go to the UK to get a few bits and pieces sorted in the near future
