New Here-Picked up an E60 M5
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself and my new to me car. This is my first ever M car, and even though I've owned it for 3 days, I'm very excited to call it my own. The sound of this V10 is amazing! It's a 2006 SMG, with 76k miles on it. I know it's bad mojo to purchase these used, but I did make the smart play and pick up an extended warranty while I was at it. However, I'm not sure how much I'll actually need it considering it's a 1 owner with a full service history at this dealership. In the past year it's had a new clutch, SMG pump, flywheel and associated parts replaced so I think I'll make out alright.
However, I'm all ears to any suggestions or tips for a new owner!
Hoping to get my 5 posts or whatever in so I can get you guys some pics!

Congrats !! I had 3 great years with my 06 M5, it will make some strange noises here and
there so don't panic immediately. The SMG takes a little getting used to also...for smoother
shifting let off the throttle a tiny bit in between shifts. Also when backing up from a slight incline
you will roll forward if you back off the throttle.

Thanks for the welcome, guys!
Here's a few pictures I've taken over the past three days. As you can see we've got a few BMW's in the household
The rain hasn't really allowed me to get any great shots of it, she's been stuck in the garage while I drive my damn Mini. However, I've added an AUX input, a set of K&N Typhoons(No Increased Emissions, YET) and various other odds and ends.
