My Ride: BMW 525d Business Exec. Extended lights package, Business Nav, PDC, Bluetooth, Bridgestone RFTs, TPM, Climate control.
Hay guys and gals,
Just got home with my new 525d after trading in my e46 320d, and I'm absolutely loving it! My first automatic car ever, and that takes some getting used to. I had my "duh, no clutch" moment way earlier while driving a 1series auto. Those things stop on a dime when you use the brake pedal like a clutch pedal..
Anyway, about the car: 2005 525d Business Exec, CPO with 58000 km on it already. Runflat Bridgestone Potenza (my first mod!), Business Nav, single drive plus changer, electric sunscreen (how decadent), and the obligatory cupholders

Made me slightly sad to trade in the e46. That car was my first love. Ever since the first time I saw one, I wanted one. Got my wish about 3 years back. Loved every minute of driving that car. Unfortunatly the reason for buying the e60 is rather sadder. My dear sweet mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few weeks ago (after being diagnosed with breastcancer 6 months ago. She now has both..). And, since my mum is a forward, down to earth kind of woman, she decided she wanted me to enjoy the 'inheritance' early so she could see the joy I might have with it. Her will be done, since she's my mum
Still, I'm unmeasurably happy with the new ride, and so is she

Anyway, enough introduction. No one will read it anyway
(and excuse my spelling errors. I do try, but English isn't my first language...)
