Hi All
Quick introduction as I am to receive my first BMW at the beginning of November which I am looking very forward to indeed.
I have been looking at everyones posts for a while whilst I made my mind up on what to order so thanks everyone for all the information.
I ordered a 520d auto msport with a few bits, which once I have found my way around the forum I will put in my signature.
I have already posted something in the bluetooth section so will hopefully get some answers to some newby questions.
I am pleased to have found what I think is a brilliant enthusiasts forum with lots of info for the excellent e60.

I ordered 8th October and due to take delivery 2nd November, getting quick delivery because my dealer told me they managed to get me a cancelled build slot.

i placed my order in may but it wasnt until september that it went into production just to be MY07.Thats less than a month.Really lucky

I know, I am really looking forward to getting it.
In deciding on having the car I test drove loads of different cars from an Audi A8, A6 2.7TDI Multitronic and new Allroad 3.0TD, then tried a 318d, 535d MSport and then settled with the 520d because of company mileage. I test drove a manual 520d manual SE and was impressed with the performance for such a small engine in a big car. I have opted for the auto which I haven't tested with that engine so I hope the performance will be good.
